Gardener's Notes: Warm season crop. Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Keep moist but not soggy and very warm (75-80F/24-27C). When seedlings are 2 inches tall, transplant into individual containers. Transplant outdoors into fertile soil when night temps stay above 50-55F (10-13C). Fertilize lightly when blossoms appear. Harvest green peppers when full-sized or leave on plant to turn red.
